Today, the Agile industry tends to reserve the “expert” label for people who gain exposure in the community by writing great blogs, speaking at conferences and publishing agile books. While this is certainly a significant contribution to the community, we believe that there are great agilists within organizations who live agile every day and make exceptional contributions on the ground, where it matters most.
In light of this, ICAgile seeks to provide the industry with two things: (1) a Learning Roadmap for people to acquire knowledge and build capability in agile, and (2) a means of recognizing expertise through real-world experience and demonstration of capability. ICAgile offers ICAgile Certified Expert (ICE) level certifications for various disciplines across the Learning Roadmap (e.g., Agile Coaching, Agile Testing, etc.)
To obtain the ICAgile Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC), a candidate must demonstrate competency in the discipline of agile coaching and facilitation to a review committee of three industry-recognized experts. The candidate will be evaluated via an interactive virtual session with the review committee.
