Agile Fundamentals
|
ICAgile Fundamentals looks at key concepts such as adaptive planning, value-driven development, team collaboration and frequent feedback for continuous improvement. The course also covers the history of agile, the agile manifesto, the agile principles, and some widely applied frameworks and practices. Participants come away with a solid understanding of core agile concepts and the agile mindset. Participants will also gain the vocabulary to discuss the benefits of agile and how to avoid common pitfalls.
The curriculum has been tailored to PwC's consulting context - the two day course will be hands on with a focus on how you can apply these skills to your work, with your clients and to the consulting sales process.
Following the course, you will be required to attend fortnightly seminars. These sessions will provide guidance and discussion on how apply the course content to your everyday work, share implementation experiences, seek feedback and troubleshoot challenges collaboratively.
This course is for you if:
- you want to build your foundational knowledge in agile
- you are committed to embracing and embedding agile ways of working with your clients
- you are committed to being an active member of the agile community at PwC
The first course is limited to 15 people. We understand this is a hot topic, so it will be built into the core curriculum moving forward with further courses to be held in the new year. If you are interested in attending the first course please register below:
Participants will receive the ICAgile Certified Professional certification (globally recognised).
If you are already certified or experienced in this area, this course may not be the one for you. Please talk to Cariad, Tom, Danielle or Scott if you are not sure.

Agile Fundamentals

The purpose of the Agile Fundamentals track is to help the learner understand that Agile is a mindset, not a methodology. It covers vocabulary and principles so that learners can discuss issues, common pitfalls and potential benefits with other Agile practitioners. This track offers learners an introduction to at least one Agile approach, from project chartering and release planning to work breakdown and developing shared understanding.
